3D in the making:

This is a 5 days short 2 persons project, therefore many different softwares were used to achieved fastest acceptable result.

The tower: This was initially modeled in Revit, then transferred to 3D Max for model touchup and simplification. Then final detail and material adjustment in Modo.

The school and Villa was modeled in Sketchup, then exported to Modo for texturing.

The entire landscape was modeled in Luxology Modo, projected from a CAD file imported from AutoCAD. Trees are generated using xFrog at extremely high res (Around 500k polygons each trees and fully textured w/ bump and stencil maps). It was then populated to the scene in Modo using Replicator from a group of about 10 different types of tree. Additional detail was added later on in Modo.

Everything was rendered in Modo, there are 2 options, each option has 4 perspectives. Average render time is 20 minutes each at 2500 pixels on a core i7-860 machine. Post-processing in Photoshop CS5.
